Yogendra Tripathi takes charge as the Secretary Tourism

There has been a change of guard in the Ministry of Tourism as Rashmi Verma, the secretary, superannuated on the 30th of November. She has been by Yogendra Tripathi who assumed the charge , beginning on the 1st of December. 

A Karnataka-cadre officer, Yogendra Tripathi joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1985 and previously served as the Chairman and Managing Director of Food Corporation of India (FCI).
